Female Pattern Hair Loss

Approximately 50% of women experience noticeable hair loss and the most significant cause of  is female pattern hair loss (FPHL) , a genetic condition that  has a permanent effect.However,  female hair loss is usually  more common in the following: 1.Women older than 40, 2.Women who have just had babies 3.Women who have had chemotherapy and those who have been affected by other medications 4.Women who often have hairstyles that pull on the hair (like tight ponytails or tight braids) or use harsh chemicals on their hair.

There are many reasons why female pattern hair loss may develop .Any girl or woman can be affected by or experience hair loss. Anything from medical conditions to hormonal changes to stress may be the culprit as well as from simple and temporary reasons such as a vitamin deficiency. Hair loss may present in different ways depending on the cause. You may notice sudden hair loss or a gradual thinning over time.
